Our legal mandate
Pursuant to Section 22c (1)-(3) of the AÜG, the SWF has the task of supporting (former) temporary workers from temporary employment agencies in several ways:
- Strengthening and stabilizing employment relationships
- Promoting (additional) qualifications
- Improving opportunities on the labor market (including during periods of unemployment in accordance with Section 12 of the Unemployment Insurance Act 1977 (AlVG))
To implement these tasks, the fund can provide the following benefits:
- Subsidies for (former) temporary workers
- Financing of further training measures
- Benefits to temporary employment agencies to extend the duration of employment
Please note: There is no legal entitlement to SWF benefits. The subsidies and other benefits granted are not considered remuneration within the meaning of Section 49 ASVG and are tax-exempt in accordance with Section 3 (1) Z 3 lit. a EStG 1988.
